GAMTEL is Connected to ACE with 4 separate International Gateways on a capacity from Portugal and France Telecoms, this provides GAMTEL with 25,000 Megabit capacity and with countrywide Fiber Network it gives her seamless protection within ECOWAN Fiber rings connecting the North and the South banks, which assures businesses of very reliable internet services with redundancy.
In addition to its capacity at ACE, GAMTEL has 28 GIGABITS with FREE COMPANY (Senegal) backup link Cross Gambia (CG2) in case of failure on the ACE, traffic automatically rerouted through the FREE Link, giving us 99.9% redundancy and a competitive edge in the Market.
